Type of Aasana : Basic/Intermediate
Basic Position : Dand Stithi ; Standing erect position. Legs joined at feet and Knees. Trunk and Back Straight . Basically standing straight and erect on ground.
How to do the Aasana :
- Take distance of one foot between two feets.
- Raise arms along the side so that they are parallel to ground. And both arms are in straight line.
- Turn right feet outwards.
- Always maintain both arms in straight line and do not bend body in forward or backward direction. This is critical to benefits of this aasan.
- turn side wise such that right hand touches right foot.
- Look up to the left hand. This is final position.
- Do it similarly on left side . This is one round.
- Do such 5 Rounds.

Type 1 :As shown in photo above
Type 2 : As shown in photo dotted line
Type 3 : Same as type 1 but not bending the knee
Type 4 : Same as type 2 but not bending the knee
Type 5 : Touch Right Hand to left leg
Type 6 : Touch Right Hand to left leg without bending knee
