TRI KON AASAN (TRI-ANGLE POSE )

 Type of Aasana : Basic/Intermediate


Basic Position : Dand Stithi ; Standing erect position. Legs joined at feet  and Knees. Trunk and Back Straight . Basically standing straight and erect on ground.


How to do the Aasana : 


  1. Take distance of one foot between two feets. 
  2. Raise arms along the side so that they are parallel to ground. And both arms are in straight line. 
  3. Turn right feet outwards.
  4. Always maintain both arms in straight line and do not bend body in forward or backward direction. This is critical to benefits of this aasan. 
  5. turn side wise such that right  hand touches right foot.
  6. Look up to the left hand. This is final position. 
  7. Do it similarly on left side . This is one round. 
  8. Do such 5 Rounds.

Type 3 : Same as type 1 but not bending the knee
Type 4 : Same as type 2 but not bending the knee
Type 5 : Touch Right Hand to left leg
