DWI KON AASAN (DOUBLE RIGHT ANGLE POSE )

 Type of Aasana : Basic/Intermediate


Basic Position : Dand Stithi ; Standing erect position. Legs joined at feet  and Knees. Trunk and Back Straight . Basically standing straight and erect on ground.


How to do the Aasana : 


  1. Keep Legs apart at little distance  .
  2. Clasp both hands together at back near buttok such that palm face upwards.
  3. Take breath .
  4. While exhaling bend forward such that there is right angle between hip back and legs.
  5. During same time bring your hands up so that there is a right angle between arms and back. This is second right angle. Hence the name dwi kon aasan .
  6. Hold breath . do no exhale. i.e bahir kumbh. count om12345 
  7. While inhaling brings hands back to normal position and back straight .
  8. This is one round.
  9. Do such 5 Rounds.
