SHASHANK BHUJANG AASAN

Type of Aasana : Intermediate/Advanced 


Basic Position : Vajrasana 


How to do the Aasana : 

  1. While inhaling raise your hands from front  so that they are above your head.
  2. While exhaling bend forward from the hip along with hands straight always shoulder touching ears till hands and forehead touch floor and are in relax positions.
  3. This is shashank aasan.
  4. Now you have to start doing bhujang aasan from here. i.e While inhaling move your body forward like you do in bhujang aasan and complete bhujang aasan.
  5. After this straight away go to vajrasan while exhaling. Do not mistake and go back to shashank aasan. so the series is vajrasan - shashank aasan - bhujang aasan-vajrasan.
  6. This is one round
  7. do such 5 rounds.
