PASCHIMOTTANASAN

Type of Aasana : Basic /Intermediate


Basic Position : Basic Position : Baithak Stithi. Both legs straight and joined .Hands at the back supporting the trunk palms facing down . 



How to do the Aasana : 

  1. While inhaling put your  up above your head and bend back little backwards . 
  2. While exhaling bend forward from the hip till  forehead touch knees  and hand are catching respective thumbs of feet  and  elbow touching the ground.
  3. Do bahir kumbh count om1,2,3,4,5
  4. While inhaling lift up your back and hand to normal position .
  5. this is one round . do such 5 rounds.
  6. Remember do not stretch much. with each outgoing breath let the body go losse so that it bends down with gravity so finally head touch the knees . Do not bend the knees in order to complete the touch,  even if it is not touching no problem try slowly to improve everyday.
