Type of Aasana : Basic/Intermediate
Basic Position : Shain Stithi (Sleeping on Back pose) Sleep comfortably on the back. Legs joined together. Eyes looking at the sky. Both hands next to buttocks facing downwards .
How to do the Aasana :
- It is another wind releasing pose in sleeping position hence named supta pawan mukta asan .
- Bend right knee and bring the knee towards the chest.
- Hold the knee by both hands locked together between knee and ankle.
- Inhale and Touch nose to right knee by raising head neck and shoulders. This is final position.
- Do antarkumbh in final position . count om 1,2,3,4,5,
- While exhaling come back to normal position.
- Similarly repeat for left leg. This is one round
- Do such 5 rounds.
