SUPTA PAWAN MUKTASAN

Type of Aasana : Basic/Intermediate


Basic Position : Shain Stithi (Sleeping on Back pose) Sleep comfortably on the back. Legs joined together. Eyes looking at the sky. Both hands  next to buttocks facing downwards  . 


How to do the Aasana : 


  1.  It is another wind releasing pose in sleeping position hence named supta pawan mukta asan .
  2. Bend right knee and bring the knee towards the chest.
  3. Hold the knee by both hands locked together between knee and ankle.
  4. Inhale and Touch nose to right knee by raising head neck and shoulders. This is final position.
  5. Do antarkumbh in final position . count om 1,2,3,4,5,
  6. While exhaling come back to normal position.
  7. Similarly repeat for left leg. This is one round
  8. Do such 5 rounds.
