Type of Aasana : Basic/Intermediate
Basic Position : Dand Stithi ; Standing erect position. Legs joined at feet and Knees. Trunk and Back Straight . Basically standing straight and erect on ground.
How to do the Aasana :
- Take distance between the legs
- Now sit in squatting position with knees fully bent and seperated wide apart. So that you have space in front to cut wood.
- Clasp both hands and image you are holding an axe in this .
- Initially keep it down. This is the begening position.
- While raising arms inhale .
- When arms are fully raised bring it down with speed to initial poistion and make a sound . As if wood is cut . Make a ha sound like one which you require for creating energy. like tennis players do. While making this sound you are automating exhaling.
- This is one round.
- Do such 5 rounds.
