MERU VAKRASAN

Type of Aasana : Basic /Intermediate


Basic Position : Basic Position : Baithak Stithi. Both legs straight and joined .Hands at the back supporting the trunk palms facing down . 



How to do the Aasana : 

  1. Bend left knee and put left foot near right knee on the other side.
  2. Now rotate trunk backwards from right such that right hand is near right buttock and left hand is as close to right hand as possible. Inhale while you do this.
  3. Now do antarkumbh count om 1,2,3,4,5
  4. Now exhaling return back to normal baithak stithi
  5. repeat same on left side now .
  6. this is one round
  7. do such 5 rounds.
