Type of Aasana : Basic/Intermediate
Basic Position : Dand Stithi ; Standing erect position. Legs joined at feet and Knees. Trunk and Back Straight . Basically standing straight and erect on ground.
How to do the Aasana :
How to do the Aasana :
- Bring Legs slightly apart
- Breathe in and stretch arms straight above head in upward direction so that now the shoulders toch the ears .do not lift the heel . Stand firm on ground withcomplete foot on the ground.
- Entangle hands above head and keep it above the head with palm facing the sky or roof .
- Exhale and bend from hip so that 90 degrees angle is with the legs and back.
- Now do bahir kumbh. and turn to right arms and trunk only. Legs and hip remain firmly on ground. Come back to centre.
- Raise trunk back to normal standing position .
- Similarly repeat on the left side.
- This is one round
- Do such 5 rounds.
