Type of Aasana : Warm-up /Basic
Basic Position : Basic Position : Baithak Stithi. Both legs straight and joined .Hands at the back supporting the trunk palms facing down .
How to do the Aasana :
- Ensure arms are straight they should be parallel to ground at shoulder height. They should be equidistant. This is very critical to this aasan.
- Wrist should be open .
- Fingers should be facing roof or sky
- this is the starting position
- Take breath and while exhaling move fingers down from the wrist so that now they point to the floor.
- Then While inhaling take it up.
- Continue for 10 rounds
