NAMASKAR AASAN

Type of Aasana : Basic/Intermediate


Basic Position : Dand Stithi ; Standing erect position. Legs joined at feet  and Knees. Trunk and Back Straight . Basically standing straight and erect on ground.


How to do the Aasana : 

  1. Bring Legs  slightly apart    
  2. Now sit in squatting postion.
  3. Now raise your hands above your head and do namaskar.
  4. Now bring hands in front of your eyes in the same namaskar stithi so that now the namaskar will be such that finger will be pointing forward. look at the fingers or look at floor.
  5. Rememver the elbows should be from inside of the knees . 
  6. This is starting position.
  7. now breathe in and to namaskar such that it is close to the chest. while doing that push the knees from inside to outside.
  8. And while exhaling extend hands again to position 6
  9. This is one round
  10. do such 5 rounds.
