SHAVA UDARAKARSHAN AASAN (TWISTED CORPSE POSE)

Type of Aasana : Basic/Intermediate


Basic Position : Shain Stithi (Sleeping on Back pose) Sleep comfortably on the back. Legs joined together. Eyes looking at the sky. Both hands  next to buttocks facing downwards  . 


How to do the Aasana : 


  1.  bring RIGHT legs close to buttocks by bending knee. Sole of rt feet should be on the ground.
  2. Raise hands with palms down at shoulder level
  3. Now turn the right knee over the left thigh so that it toucher floor on the side of left thigh.
  4. Now with left and touch right knee by lowering the left hand and by raising right knee as much possible.
  5. Right arm remains at shoulder level. Look at right hand by turning neck to right
  6. This is final position . Do bahir kumbh. Count om1,2,3,4,5
  7. Similarly do on left feet.
  8. this is one round
  9. do such 5 rounds.
