Type of Aasana : Warm-up /Basic
Basic Position : Basic Position : Baithak Stithi. Both legs straight and joined .Hands at the back supporting the trunk palms facing down .
How to do the Aasana :
- This is most basic and easy aasan for meditation. It should be used beginners.
- Bend left knee and put the leg under right thigh.
- Then bend right knee and put right leg under left thigh.
- eyes should be closed
- body should be totally relaxed
- imagine a divine light in between your eyes.
- Mudra should be dhyan or chin mudra.
- Elbow can be bent in order to give relaxation to arms.
