UDARAKARSHAN AASAN

Type of Aasana : Basic/Intermediate


Basic Position : Dand Stithi ; Standing erect position. Legs joined at feet  and Knees. Trunk and Back Straight . Basically standing straight and erect on ground.


How to do the Aasana : 

  1. Bring Legs  slightly apart   
  2. sit in squatting position . With hands on the knees.
  3. Breathe in completely and while exhaling now bright the right knee to left foot . and push left knee towards right .
  4. Look over the left towards back above shoulder. . This is final position. 
  5. Do bahir kumbh  count om 1,2,3,4,5
  6. Inhale and come back to initial squatting position. 
  7. Do on the left also.
  8. This is one round . Do such 5 rounds.
